Dear Friends, We are a little less than one month away from the opening of our new show The Nightingale at the Children’s Creativity Museum, and our artists are deeply immersed in preparations. It is a profound experience to create circus theater in an ensemble. So much of our contemporary lives are automated, isolated, and digitized. The opportunity to spend hours upon hours each week engaged in communal work in which we are literally lifting one another’s bodies in our arms in order to express the stirrings of the human heart and mind…this is a gift. We look forward to sharing this gift with you soon! Sincerely, Felicity INFORMATION & TICKETS <https://peoplescircustheatre.org/the-nightingale?ss_source=sscampaigns&ss_campaign_id=681ee234e7013214fc9bce64&ss_email_id=6821f114e7013214fcb9efa8&ss_campaign_name=Sharing+the+gift+of+circus+and+storytelling&ss_campaign_sent_date=2025-05-12T13%3A03%3A35Z> Our Library Performance We had a great time performing at the South Novato Library’s Primavera Festival. We performed a mini version of The Nightingale in which the audience was part of the creative process! We explored The Nightingale through a combination of storytelling, circus acts, and interactive scenes in which the audience joined us on stage and became a part of the story. Following our performance, we hosted a circus workshop for people to try circus skills. If you are interested in having PCT host a similar performance, workshop, or assembly at your school or event, please reach out. We love sharing the joy of creation! The Nightingale Behind the Scenes Our Partners The Nightingale would not be possible without our partner organizations: Circus Center <http://www.circuscenter.org> and Children’s Creativity Museum <https://creativity.org> . These organizations have been Bay Area institutions for over 25 years. They both play a vital role in serving youth and artists in our community while adding to the vibrancy of San Francisco. We are grateful and honored to partner with them.
