Rosemary Le is the Nightingale The Nightingale is a rare and revered bird living in the Forest on the outskirts of town. When she is captured, the world is changed forever. Rosemary brings her stunning movement quality and generous heart to this role. Joey the Tiger is the Emperor The Emperor is a Tech Mogul who has bought an impoverished town and turned it into a Company Town. Joey brings his technical prowess and passionate artistry to this project. Mikayla Dinsdale is Carina Carina lives in the town and is trying to hold her family together even as the world crumbles around her. Mikayla brings her expressive physicality and sensitive emotional performance to this role. Scott Dare is Sadit Married to Carina, Sadit works for the Emperor and is desperately trying to fix the world’s failings. This is Scott’s debut with People’s Circus Theatre, and we love working with him! Scott brings his extensive experience as an actor, acrobat, and creator to this project. Yasmina Bourdais is Assistant #1 Assistant #1 is one of the Emperor’s loyal and bumbling assistants. Yasmina brings her acrobatic excellence and creator sensibilities to this show. Lex Baesen is Assistant #2 Assistant #2 is another one of the Emperor’s loyal and bumbling assistants. Lex is an incredible acrobat who literally and figuratively lifts up everyone around her.
