Pine Lake Park Volunteer Workparty - November 18

Hi,

SF Rec and Park is inviting you to our first Volunteer Workparty at Pine Lake Park, on Saturday, November 18, 10am – 1pm.

We are reaching out to you as an interested party in the Stern Grove Playground Renovation Project. Volunteering and community stewardship are a critical part of ensuring the success of the 230-plus parks in San Francisco.

Pine Lake Park is adjacent to Stern Grove and we are very excited to host a volunteer event for the park. Pine Lake Park is a Natural Resources Area, in which SF Rec and Park preserves, enhances and protects natural habitats and species. Pine Lake Park is home to a naturally-occurring lake, which provides habitat for hundreds of migratory birds throughout the year, as well as willow, tule and other wetland plants.

Space is limited due to staff capacity, so please use the QR code on the attached flyer to sign up to volunteer!
Volunteering tasks for this work party will include removing invasive species, trail clearing and planting (if weather permits).
