On Saturday, November 8th at 1pm, join us at Book Passage Corte Madera ( https://r2.arts-mail.com/c/AQiH_A0Q1s9KGL7n6JoCIMDj7BQes_p-D5Ju-HU2lyuetoTUF4fjAaqZOw7eSXeP8PoUfw ) for a conversation with Executive Artistic Director Lance Gardner, sharing insights on his Marin Theatre directorial debut in Sally & Tom, and poet/filmmaker Amber Allen-Peirson ( https://r2.arts-mail.com/c/AQiH_A0Q1s9KGL7n6JoCIL_j7BQo-R2-bFwphiqax438UtrHeKz4eb62L9K_DXl1i0-t5w ), the subject of an upcoming documentary in which she considers her heritage as a mixed race woman in Marin. Gardner and Allen-Peirson will discuss the intersections of their work, their identities, and the burden that American history has asked them and all of us to bear.
