IEL Members & Club Representatives,

I hope you're all having a great start to the new school year! As we prepare for an exciting fall season of eventing, I wanted to reach out to remind you that the USEA is here to support you should you have any questions about the Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL)<https://useventing.com/events-competitions/competitions/interscholastic-eventing-league>. Please don't forget to review the Interscholastic Eventing League Guidelines<https://useventing.com/events-competitions/interscholastic-eventing-league/interscholastic-eventing-league-guidelines> at the beginning of each season and reach out to me or Committee Chair, Kate Boggan, if you have questions.

Be sure to mark 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday, December 12 on your calendar for this year's IEL Open Forum at the USEA Annual Meeting & Convention. We will give an update on the program's successes in 2025, several reminders as we look towards the New Year, and leave plenty of time for questions from your club representatives. A link to join via video conference will be distributed closer to the event.

As we look to the end of the year, there are still several opportunities to compete with your teammates this fall at horse trials across the country. Please check the event omnibus listings to confirm how to enter each team challenge.

As a reminder, the team challenge calendar for 2026 will be posted by December 31, 2025, at the latest. Keep an eye on the pages linked above for the new schedule at the end of the year, so you can start planning for the spring season.

The USEA Intercollegiate & IEL Championships will make its debut as a standalone championship at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina on May 15-17, 2026! The USEA can't wait to host the first program championship that will be exclusively open to Intercollegiate and IEL members. You won't want to miss this incredible event! If you know anyone who is interested in starting a new team to participate, please direct them to the IEL Application Form<https://useventing.com/safety-education/forms-documents/interscholastic-eventing-league-application-form> to get started.
