Valentine's Day is Just Around the Corner!
https://www.sfzoo.org/woo-at-the-zoo/
Birds do it, bees do it, and as guests will learn during the eye-opening presentation, “Woo at the Zoo,” all animals “do it”! This popular adults-only event will take place on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Zoo’s Osher Great Hall.
Woo at the Zoo focuses on the mating and breeding behavior of animals during a 90-minute, informative and yes, humorous, multimedia presentation and brunch that will include some up-close animal encounters. Contrary to common belief, no animals will “mate on cue” but guests will learn much about how a variety of species mate.
Woo at the Zoo is limited to guests 21 years or older. Tickets are $65 for Zoo Members and $75 for non-members and includes parking and Zoo admission. Pre-advance purchases and reservations for Woo at the Zoo are required.

Nature Trail Applications Now Online!
https://www.sfzoo.org/nature-trail-program/
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Nature Trail, (https://www.sfzoo.org/nature-trail-program/) a major milestone for this popular, grassroots, community-based youth volunteer program nestled along a scenic, wooded trail inside the Exploration Zone.
Nature Trail started in 1976 with just 10 teen volunteers, and over the years, this program has fulfilled the role of career catalyst, defining the course individuals take in life. The youth who participate gain invaluable experience, especially for those who want to further their education in wildlife biology, zoology, or environmental education.
Nature Trail is the jewel of the Animal Rescue and Conservation Center's (ARC) educational outreach programming, and the ARC is happy to announce that they are now accepting applications for Nature Trail participants this summer. Teens ages 12
