First Time Freshman Orientation for Independence High

Dear Prospective Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Independence High. The first day of
school is Wednesday, August 17, 2026. New student Orientation for first
time Freshman will be held on Monday, August 10 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Please
arrange time off from work to attend this Orientation. All new students
must complete an Orientation before starting classes at Independence High.

The student and at least one parent/guardian must be present at Orientation
to sign enrollment paperwork.Orientation is two hours long. Please arrive
on time because we have lots of materials to cover. Independence High is
located at 1350 7th Ave., San Francisco, CA 94122. Please enter the
building from 6th Ave. parking lot.
