Updates to Google Play Terms of Service

On November 5, 2026, we’re making some changes to our Google Play Terms of  
Service. These changes won’t affect the way you use Google Play, but they  
should help make it easier for you to understand what to expect from Google  
Play — and what we expect from you — as you use our services.

At a glance, here’s what this update means for you:

• Applicable Terms: We updated the definition of Content in the terms to  
make clear that it includes system services (including, but not limited to,  
those provided by Google Play services

If you use Family Link to manage a Google Account for someone else, please  
take some time to talk to them about these changes.

By continuing to use Google Play after these changes, you agree to the new  
terms. If you do not agree, you may download content you previously  
purchased or installed and terminate your use of Google Play.
