Exciting Opportunity: SOTA Spain Trip!

Hi Parents!!

Some of you may have seen an email through the SOTA groups about a trip to
Spain that the Visual Arts Department is organizing. A few Costume &
Fashion Design parents expressed interest, and the Visual Arts Department
has kindly decided to open the trip up to our department too (!!) which is
so cool!!

This is actually the first I've heard of the trip myself, but it sounds
like an amazing opportunity!

*The deets:*

There is an informational meeting *this evening on campus!* I know this is
very last-minute notice, but if you can't attend, please email Jhina at
alvarado-morsej at sfusd.edu and she can send you notes from the meeting.

>From what I've heard, there are a few scholarships available, and the flyer
mentions the opportunity to earn either high school or college credit! I'm
not sure how that works just yet, and I don't have all the details on costs
or logistics, so Jhina will be the best person to contact with questions.

The trip is planned for *spring break next year (2027)*, so there is some
time to plan ahead!

About half the class took flyers home, but I'll also attach photos of the
flyer here so everyone has the information. Definitely check in with your
student to see if they're interested :)
