<p>Hi -<br />We looked at secular 2 class/grade coed schools as well. Here's the list:<p />- San Francisco Day School<br />- San Francisco Friends School<br />- Children's Day School (CDS)<br />- Marin Country Day School (MCDS) (they have a bus for SF kids)<br />- Nueva School (it's in Hillsborough. they have a bus for SF kids)<br />- Chinese American Intl School (CAIS)<br />- French American Intl School (FAIS)<p />They're all great in different ways. CAIS, FAIS, and CDS all have pre-k as well as K so there are many fewer slots for K applicants FYI.<p />We ended up at Nueva. The twins just started 1st grade this year. They absolutely LOVED kindergarten there. It's a very progressive curriculum and I'm happy to discuss it with you directly if you'd like.<p />

<p>All great advice! I also thinking pumping while bottle feeding your expressed milk might be the way to go as an interim option. Here's a link to Amazon.com to purchase the item. Also, if you aren't already, join Amazon Mom. It's free and they really do have not only the best prices for all things baby & mom, but they just automatically deliver the items to your door -- diapers, babywipes, formula, whatever. That may not be something you need if you cloth diapering, etc., but it's good to know about:<br /><a href="http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B00295MQLU/thehayfamblo-20" target="_external">http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B00295MQLU/thehayfamblo-20</a><p />And definitely enlist family and friends that you would feel comfortable with seeing your boobies to come and help. Sometimes people are just DYING to come and help and are waiting for an an invitation. <p />A volunteer from SFPOM would be a terrific option -- and, if you've got it in the budget, a mommy's helper is a GREAT help. Because you need to eat and drink too and you can't do that with all you are already doing.<p />You will get through this time -- it's tough. Mine were 31 weeks and I have to use the nipple shields and different sized ones for each baby and the dog would find them and eat them and it's just a huge hassle but you'll come out the other side, I promise!<br />xo<p />

<p>My twins were sleeping through the night by 7 weeks, yes, 7 weeks!! We got help from a live-in baby nurse. They went from babies who woke up every 2-3 hours around the clock at different times to two babies who slept from 8:30PM-7:30AM and 3 naps during the day. It was amazing.<p />One thing I learned is that babies can't sleep too much. Trying to keep them up during the day more (at least for us) only made them cranky and overtired. Whether they sleep all day basically or have 2-3 short naps, they still sleep 11 hours at night.<p />Also, make sure they are super well burped before they go down for a nap/sleep. We learned that if you don't do this, they often wake in an hour or so. When they were well burped they never woke up and we always had to wake them to feed again.<p />Finally, at night try phasing out the feedings. On her first night, our baby nurse fed the twins at 8PM. They cried that night around midnight. She let them cry it out until about 2AM and then fed them. She did that for a couple of nights and then extended the time they were fed to 2:15, then 2:30, 3:00, 3:30, etc. Once they got to 4:30 she fed them chamomile tea instead of milk. After a few days of tea at 4:30 they went cold turkey and didn't get fed again until 8am. They have been sleeping through the night since then. It took about 2 weeks to get there. THey are 6 months old now. One of them sometimes starts to stir around 6am-6:30, but they never cry. They will babble softly in their crib until it is time to get up.<p />Good luck!<p />

<p>I saw Rachel Shu at CPMC. She told me that she would deliver my twins vaginally as long as baby A was head down. She said it didn't matter the baby B was breech or the she was bigger! I ended up having a c-section at almost 38 weeks because both girls were breech for the last two months and didn't have room to turn. I actually loved the c-section because she cut away a lot of extra skin so now I really don't have any loose skin at all. My babies are 12 weeks and my stomach is almost back to normal. I LOVE my doctor!!!! She is very direct, wants you to listen to her and always tells it like it is. Some people don't like this because she doesn't sugar coat things. I personally loved this about her. She knows what she is doing and she took very good care of me. My babies are perfectly healthy and I went full term because I took all of her advice. Her office on Sutter is much nicer then the one on California- FYI!<p />Sent from my iPhone<p />

<p>Just to chime in - I had a vaginal delivery on 8/31/11 at UCSF. I saw the midwives - Suzanne Seger and Judith Bishop for most of my prenatal care. I recommend scheduling all your appointments long in advance with whatever providers you want. I also can highly recommend Dr. Deborah Kamali and Dr. Laros for prenatal care. UCSF will suggest you meet with an MD once or twice. Dr. Laros was the "attending" at my delivery for a vaginal head first/breech birth -- it was a wonderful experience. No one ever discussed c-section with me except to say that they strongly encourage an epidural so that they can do an emergency c-section if baby b goes into distress after baby a comes out. Having said that - a breech delivery of baby b is actually "faster" than another head down delivery --so there are many doctors at UCSF who actually prefer to do an "assisted" breech delivery on baby B regardless of baby B's presentation. The doctors prefer "faster" because there is less time for baby B to go into distress. At the end of the day, you want to do what makes you and your providers feel safest at the time you all make the decisions. <p>hearing everyone's thoughts & experiences was extremely helpful. thank you all for sharing. i'm sorry that some of you were in a similar situation.<p />my u/s this afternoon revealed baby A girl is 2 lbs 6 oz (head down & slightly angled) and baby B boy is 2 lbs 7 oz (still transverse). a difference of only an ounce still, but i know this can change as the pregnancy progresses.<p />my plan is to clarify with dr. green what my delivery options are at our next appt, so there's no misunderstanding. i'll inquire about dr. elizabeth moy and/or ask for a recommendation for someone in the same practice that's comfortable with it. would be great to stick with the same group to avoid the disruption of moving to a new practice. in the meantime, i'll reach out to golden gate ob for a 2nd opinion. i'd like to believe dr. green has been pushing the cesarean because of the risks involved with a vaginal delivery, but i can't help but feel it's just her preference. i wish she'd be more flexible if the conditions were right. thanks so much for all of the doctor recommendations, sounds like i have a great pool to choose from if i'm not able to connect w/ golden gate ob.<p />jen -- to clarify, by natural, i mean vaginal (with or w/o drugs). i have a fairly high pain tolerance level, but something tells me i'll need assistance!<p />

<p>We have loved ours. It is kind of large even when folded up. That is probably the only con. We love the gigantic basket below. The skip hop duo deluxe diaper bag fits perfectly on the back. It pushes beautifully. Oh, so much easier to push than our snap n go. I used the contours stroller exclusively after trying it once - even with the hassle of getting this larger stroller in and out of the car. It was just so much easier to push and maneuver. We also have a 3 year old, and we love the flexibility of being able to let her go in the stroller (and putting one of the twins in a backpack) if she wants to.<p />
