We have a 3-year-old as well as our twin 1-year-olds.
Has anyone used a boogie board with the Contours
Options Stroller? If so which one(s) worked?

HI All,Wondering if anyone has an opinion on the new
SFUSD system for linking multiples to prevent them from
being assigned separate schools. We now have a choice,
link them or not- which leaves us in a real quandry as
far as which is going to give better odds of eventually
getting a place in one of the schools we want. (If we
link they can't be separated but also don't get the
benefit of sibling priority at all in subsequent
rounds- and only get in to places with three available
spots if and when they get pulled out of the hat.anyone
have thoughts or information on this?Ranu

3. Traveling with carseats?

Hi everyone - We are bringing our 9-month-old boy/girl
twins to Chicago for Thanksgiving, and trying to decide
what to do about their carseats. We have the
opportunity to borrow a car from family. We have two
Graco snugrides, and in our own cars we use the bases.
We have never tried to install them using the seatbelts
(without the base). Does anyone have experience
traveling with the carseats and installing them in
taxicabs and/or borrowed cars without the bases? Is
this considered safe? Is it difficult to do?Thanks so
much!

Agreed. It's super easy to do, but definitely practice
at least once at home before you travel. Here's a handy
demo video. Scroll down to "Rear-Facing Infant Seat
without Base"http://www.carseatsite.com/videos.htm

We never used the bases when we travel. They exist for
convenience, they don't make it any safer (it's a lot
easier to just snap it in than to have to strap it
in!). I definitely recommend watching the video, and
even practicing in the front seat of your car so you
get a feel for it before you go.
