1. Traveling away from babies for the weekend while pumping
--------------------------------------------------------
nodelmonkey - 11/12/2011 10:38 pm
Does anyone have experience going away from babies for
a weekend (or work week) while still pumping?
Specifically, what did you do with your pumped
breastmilk in terms of getting it back home? I'm
headed to visit a friend for the weekend without my
babes and planning to continue to pump while I'm away.
I'm not sure if I can take the milk with me on the
airplane or the best way to store throughout the
weekend (I have only ever done it when I have the babes
with me). Any other thoughts along these lines??
Thanks!

We have had the girls in swimming, gymnastics and dance
classes for the last couple years, but just curious
what other kinds of classes kids their age are taking.
Maybe there is something out there that we are missing.
Most art classes seem to start at age 6. Are there any
good martial arts classes? soccer? taiko drumming? What
else are your kids enjoying that I am unaware of
?Thanks!WendyAlicia/Kira(4/07)

I second Akamai Mothers. We used them in Maui and had a
great experience. Our twins were 9 months old and we
had 2 cribs, 2 high chairs, a diaper pail and even
beach umbrellas and chairs (for adults.) Akamai had
everything set up in our condo when we arrived and came
to take them away as we checked out.

Hi Melissa, all caregiver posts should be posted on
SFPOM caregiver forum, not on General Discussion. When
you post to Caregiver Forum the moderator will review
your ad. This is a precaution we had to adopt because
of the prior abuse. If you don't see your ad it
probably means that it was not reviewed by the
moderator yet. It might take a day or two. Thank you
for understanding!

We like the outrigger Waikiki shore. They are condo
rentals, so have one or two bedrooms, a kitchenette,
and laundry in unit. Not super fancy, but reasonably
priced and right on the beach.
