Dear all, we recently toured Stratford school and were
very impressed with the academic approach there.
However our kids are still very young - do you have
experience with their program for 3 and 4 year olds? Do
they achieve a good balance of playing and learning?
Any feedback, positive or negative will be appreciated.
They told us that they have several pairs of twins at
school :)Many thanks!

3. Mr. Moo? (milk delivery)

Hi there - so we are - going through milk by the
gallons -- (as I'm sure many of you are as well)..I was
wondering if anyone has signed up for "Mr. Moo" weekly
- deliveries and if it's worth the extra $? Obviously -
I like the idea of getting "organic, pasteurized,
non-homogenized, antibiotic & hormone-free" milk -
delivered in glass bottles - but I'm wondering if
anyone who has tried it, is satisfied...Thanks!!

We use Mr. Moo and are very satisfied. We were not
bothered by the extra cost because a: We were buying
this already b: we needed to buy it twice a week for a
long time since we could not store everything we needed
in a week. Now Mr. Moo delivers 3 gallons of milk and
this is what we use in week and I am thankful this
thanksgiving for not carrying all that milk home from
the store. I still have to carry it up 3 stories of
stairs.

pack and plays

Hi - I know this isn't specifcally what you were
looking for, but my 2.5 girls DID start climbing out of
their pack-n-plays, so we bought these toddler size
cots for them to use while we travel. We've used them
several times now and have had good luck with them.
These are the ones we have, but I've seen other brands
as well:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H1MRJO/ref=oh_o04_s00_i00_detailsWe
just put extra blankets on top of them to make them a
little more comfortable. They're collaspable and we were
able to fit both of them in one of our larger suitcases
for airline travel.

My guys are exactly the same age and 75% for height and
they also love sleeping in their cribs. We have no
immediate plans to tranistion them to toddler or
regular beds. Our last trip was in September and they
each slept very comfortably in their pack and plays
even though they are getting a little tight on space.
Do your little ones curl up at all when they sleep? You
might look into renting real cribs on the other end.
Shelly Rivoli (the travel writer that spoke to the club
last year) maintains an international directory of baby
gear rental companies on her website-
http://www.travelswithbaby.com/planning/baby_gear_rentals.htmThe
other product you might consider is the KidCo Peapod
Plus. It's a small tent with an infatable matress.

Hi,A lot of Tahoe rentals will advertise that they have
a crib or other options for small children. When we
went to Tahoe and our children were still in cribs but
too big for pack & plays, we had 1 child sleep on a
pull-out chair (smaller than a single mattress) with
just the mattress on the floor. Could be an option for
you to consider...check out the rentals and ask the
owners. The other thing that we have found has worked
well has been an inflatable mattress. The sides are
curved up, so a child cannot roll out of it like one
would in a regular mattress. This link below is not
the exact one we have used since ours but it is very
similar. Our twins have slept very well in them and no
one ever rolled
out.http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=537824&parentCategoryId=85184&categoryId=85218&subCategoryId=117621

We put a big cardboard box in ours (filling pretty much
the entire space). We also cleaned it out so that if
(when) they do get back there despite this, they are
less sooty. More recently we put a huge play kitchen
in front of it that also helps disuade them from
crawling in. The full on gate may be your only option
if you want to continue using the fireplace.
