1. Looking for nutrition tracker appropriate for twin pregnancy
--------------------------------------------------------
jeccat - 1/16/2012 10:09 pm
I am just entering my second trimester of a twin
pregnancy and I am a little intimidated by the changes
I need to make in my diet. (I am a vegetarian and I
need to at least triple my protein intake.) Ideally I
would like an online tracker-- like the one at Weight
Watchers-- where you can enter your food and it tells
you how much you're getting of each nutrient. All the
ones I've seen are either for dieters or for singleton
pregnancies. Barring that, I would appreciate any tips
on how you managed to keep track of your nutrition
during your twin pregnancies!

If there's no way to notate it on the application, then
I don't believe there's any type of preference given in
this first round. If you don't get the school you
want, then you can submit an amended application, where
medical appeals are considered. If you feel your
situation is unique, then I would advise speaking
directly with a Placement Counselor at 555 Franklin.

6. does your nanny/mothers helper want extra hours?
--------------------------------------------------------
melissa_farris - 1/16/2012 7:38 am
My mom usually helps me with my three kids (6mo twins
and 3 year old) on Mondays and Wednesdays. She is
having knee surgery at the end of the month so I'm
looking for a mothers helper for 6 -8 weeks while she
recovers. If your nanny is available from about 11-6 on
Mon and/or Wed and wants more hours for a little bit,
please let me know! Ideally she would start Jan 30.
Thanks for any leads!

When I read your post it sounded like you were
decribing one of my twin girls to a T. She actually
has reflux and was always tough to feed. But, mostly,
she always needs to be disctracted and entertained. I
always play Baby Einstein for her while she eats. It
really helps. And, she went through a phase like you
decribe, but she is totally over it. I still play the
Baby Einstein video at every meal. I also stopped
spoon feeding her myself. She likes to do everything
herself and when I tried spoon feeding myself, it only
seemed to aggrevate her more. I tried techniqes like
letting her put something in my mouth which she loves
and then she lets me put something in mouth which seems
to be a helpful technique at times. Also, I don't give
her anything to drink until after the meal. Objects
she can hold like sippy cups or even utensils at this
age only seem to discract her and pervent her from
putting her food in her month. Hope this helps.
