Hi all,I'm looking to take my kids to their first
dentist appointment. We have Metlife Dental insurance,
so preferably I'm looking for a family
dentist...someone good with kids!I live in SF (Marina)
but am moving to Marin soon, so someone on the north
side of the city or even Marin is preferred.Any
rec?Thanks!Nanvy

I take my guys to Dr Gila in Marin. Her office is very
close to Marin General. They have each only been once
but I was really impressed with the office. Really
sweet, child centered, professional and calm. It took a
few weeks to get an initial appt, but now they're on a
schedule. http://www.drdorostkar.com/

Presented by Rona Renner, RNNEW LOCATIONPRESIDIO SPORTS
BASEMENTYelling can be caused by stress, fatigue,
depression, anger, or other reasons. Most parents agree
that yelling isn't beneficial, but many report that
they just don't know what to do when their children
misbehave. We will discuss how to come up with a plan
and learn more about what triggers your yelling.Rona

radio program. A graduate of the Brooklyn College

parenting workshops focusing on temperament, behavior
and anger management, and attention deficit

Do whatever it takes to swing a night nanny. And don't
feel bad if you have to supplement w formula. My guys
came early and had poor sucking muscles. Gavage is not
the end of the world! After we got them home (3 wks in
nicu) it still took 45 min each for a 2oz pull on a
btl. You finish w one and the next guy is up! And
repeat! And repeat! I was a basket case... And then the
night nanny came and saved me, my marriage, and my
boys.... Bcs either I was going to leap out the window
or I was going to toss someone out!!! Now 11 months
later, omg! You cannot believe how wonderful they
are!!! They talk to one another, they play together and
I catch them on the monitor standing in their cribs and
passing lovies back and forth. Awesome!!!!Sent from my

Thanks for the thread. I've been trying to decide
whether to go cloth or disposable with my twins due in
April. We used Tinytots with my son and really liked
the service. When he started daycare I ended up buying
my own and laundering. He was using few enough per
week that paying for the service didn't make sense any
more, and at that point I was recovered and "together"
enough to deal with the laundry. But it was definitely
much easier to have Tinytots at first when they go
through zillions of diapers.Green Mountain Diapers is
another good source for covers (wider selection) and
buying your own if you ever decide to go that route.
For the newborn covers I preferred non-Velcro. We had
to do skin-to-skin and the Velcro was too scratchy.
But once we passed that stage Velcro was easier.

Thank you Sharon for organizing the event. Not only
did we have a fabulous time, we all looked *fabulous*
at the end of the evening. I think the last time I
spent time thinking about make-up was before I got
bed-rested with the twins, and that was over three
years ago!
