1. What's the best training pottys?

I'm sure this has been asked but a quick skim of the
archives and I can't find anything about the actual
potty its self. There are sooooo many different types
and brands, you can even buy them by gender?!? So if it
makes a difference to you I have twin boys, any
recommendations for a particular type or brand? Thanks
in advance!

Presented by Stephanie Forster, MFA, founder of Preggo
Pilates (www.preggopilates.com)A very healthy dinner
planned by Angie Needles of MamaKai.orgDo you have
abdominal muscle issues? Diastasis is a separation of
the abdominal muscles more common in moms who have had
multiples. The Tupler Technique is a series of
exercises designed to bring the abdominal muscles back
together. (Regular crunches can actually make diastatis
worse because they strain the muscles in a way that
causes them to separate more.) Come learn the correct
way to repair your tummy, help alleviate back pain, and
slim your waistline.

Hi there,I'm a parent of b/g twins, and when I found
out that I was having one of each I was a little bit
disappointed... I am also a twin myself, and my twin
sister is my best friend in the whole world. She is
the most important person in my life (along with my
husband, of course) and I think that a lot of what
makes us so close is having similar interests and life
experiences. I don't know if we would have been as
close if one of us was a boy. When I got pregnant with
twins, I didn't care what I was having, but I did hope
to have two of the same (i.e. two boys or two girls) so
that they would have a chance of sharing that wonderful
bond that I share with my sister. Now that my son and
daughter are here, I wouldn't change a thing and I
think they are perfect just the way they are. I can
see all kinds of benefits of having one of each, but it
was still an adjustment to accept that things would be
different than the way I had hoped they would be. As
far as the whole boys v. girls debate, I had heard from
friends that boys tend to be cuddlier than girls, and
anecdotally this is holding up in my small sample set.
My little guy is a champion snuggler and he loves to
smooch and wrap his arms around me, while my daughter
is more interested in getting on with things and
playing! I think that once your little guys arrive you
will fall completely in love with them just as they are
and see all the benefits to having two boys.

I went through the same feelings when I found out I was
having 2 girls at 16W (my husband and I wanted one of
each). Then a few weeks later at the next ultrasound
the same technician who was "95%" sure twin B was a
girl said he was a boy after all. They are not always
right...No matter what, you are gonna love your little
boys, they are so affectionate and love mommy. I adore
my girl but she can be a little aloof and independent
some times. And heaven help us during the teen
years.Congrats no matter what you have.Jessica

I was hoping for at least one boy! And I would have
been really happy with two boys and not disappointed at
all not to have a girl. During the first ultrasound
when we were supposed to find out, the technician said
it looked like two girls, but she wasn't 100% sure, so
she said to wait for the next ultrasound for better
confirmation. I was SO hoping at the next appt they
would see a boy part, haha. When it was confirmed it
was two girls, I was sad. I couldn't really get myself
to put pink things on my baby registry. I bought a
number of things in neutral colors. I also felt a
sadness for "the boy I'd never have" (though we might
still have another in the future...), to the point
where I literally had an image of him drifting further
and further away from me until he was gone.My girls are
10 months old now and they are WONDERFUL. Like others
have said, I couldn't imagine it any other way! I love
them _so much_. It honestly seems so weird to me now to
imagine having a boy. I guess I'm a little jealous of
those who get the gender that they "wanted"--just
because it would be fun to be SO EXCITED about the
news, but it seems to turn out that you can be wrong
about what you want :) Though yes, as Jessica said, I
am terrified of their teen years! In fact, I'm
terrified for their 12-32 years, probably. After they
were born, my husband and I toasted to "at least 10
good years" :) That is a definite plus to having boys!
Congratulations!-Helen
