We are looking for a car for three kids under three. We
have a 2 year old and twins coming in the summer. We
were all set to get the highlander, but took it to
citikids and they said we should not put a carseat (the
forward facing toddler) in the third row because of the
position of the seat belt for that seat (too far
forward from the seat).Does anyone have the highlander
with a car seat in the third row? Or what car do you
have with three young kids?We were trying to avoid a
minivan. And in the city, we'd like the exterior
dimensions to not be THAT big.

I am pregnant with twins and expecting in August. I am
starting my registry and wanted some advice on the
cosleeper. My friends who have a single baby swear by
them, but I hear mix reviews by those who have twins.
I know there is a 27lb weight limit which means they
will have to be in it for a short amount of time which
is fine. I was just hoping to get some opinions on
them, and if there is another option. Our bedroom is
small so a crib is out of the picture. Has anyone had
any positive experiences with them or are they to
squishy for twins. Thanks

We have a 3.5-year-old and twin 1.5-year-olds. It
feels like we have been going full throttle for the
past 1.5 years. My husband and I need a break. We
don't have family in town or family willing to come
give us a break. What other options exist for getting
away for a weekend? We need sleep, rest and
relaxation!

Dear SFPOMs:If you are like me, you had spent a chunk
of time figuring out the whole 'car seat' situation. As
a mom of three, it has gotten a bit complicated for us

hi, the girls will graduate from chicco kefit 30
carseats in a couple of months and i'm wondering what
others have moved on to? i'd like to put the seats
side by side, i think, like we currently do with the
keyfit 30s. have others done this? are there narrow
enough seats out there to do this? also, do they come
with bases? or did you buy four seats? two for each

I purchased adult bedding from restoration hardware and
had a wonderful woman make crib sheets from the queen
set, a bed skirt from the quilt, and split the drapery
panel I bought. She is reasonably priced and very nice
to work with. Her name is Sharon Bechtol and she lives
in Pac Heights. Cell is 650-483-3010. You could go to
Britex, pick your favorite fabrics, and have things
custom-made. Good luck!

I also use Tiny Tots and I am happy with them. There
is no way we could fit disposables into our garbage
every week using a 20 gal. We would have to increase
the size of our can. One thing I've noticed people
posting about is using the disposables at night and I
wanted to comment about that. We did in the beginning
until someone told us to just use two, double them up
at night. We tried it with our first child and now
with the twins and all three are sleeping through the
night with cloth. Our daughter starting at two months
(now she is 23months) and the twins now at three months
old using cloth at night. They are damp in the
morning, it is cloth but not soaking and the bedding
and clothing remains dry. Maybe we are lucky. Good
