1. Babies in stroller on SF hills

We live on the top of a hill in SF which provides for
spectacular views but now I'm worried about strolling
the twins around (especially down the hill). We bought
a twin snap and go, and I realize we'll strap the
babies in but is there ANY chance one might fall out
when we're going down a steep hill?I've also seen moms
tethered to their strollers --where does one buy one of
these?Suggestions?

I just attached a dog leash to my City Mini stroller as
a just-in-case tether!While the snap-n-go is great for
getting out and about when the babies are little, it
isn't really a good stroller for going on long walks
outside. It is kind of rickety and really difficult to
control. I wouldn't recommend it for a walk in the
hills. I also live in a really hilly area. Fortunately
we have a couple of flat-ish blocks to walk on, and
when the babies were really little and we needed to get
out of the house for a bit, we would walk around there.
The snap-n-go is great for the doctor or shopping or
little walks, but I would highly recommend a more
sturdy stroller if you plan to walk the hills. That
said, we love our City Mini double and started using it
(with no carseat adaptor, just reclining the seats and
putting the babies in) when they were a few months old.
Until they just got super heavy and it was impossible
to make it up the hills, I felt very safe walking up
and down the hills with the kids secured in that
stroller.

3. Pediatric Dentist in Noe/Mission/Castro?

I live in Noe Valley and am hoping to find a pediatric
dentist for my babies first check-up somewhere nearby.
I've seen several positive reviews on this site for
dentists near CPMC and on the peninsula, but has anyone
had experience taking their kids to the dentists in the
Noe/Mission/Castro area?

Hello SF POM,Our twin boys were born two days ago, and
we are so grateful that they are, so far, happy and
healthy little boys. They are tiny (born at 36 weeks,
3 days due to monochorionic twins) - 4lbs 10oz and 4lbs
12oz at birth.Wondering if anyone has ever rented a
scale (or knows where we can rent one) to monitor
weight at home until they are 6lbs or so?Thanks so
much,Sarah
