It's not a silly question at all!I nurse tandem almost
all the time. I put an EZ2Nurse pillow on my shower
wish list, and it has been invaluable. I did try one
time to nurse tandem on a pillow meant to nurse a
single baby, and it did not work well for me.

I was never good at tandem breastfeeding nor did the
'breast friend' work for me for a several reasons:1) I
don't really have enough 'real estate' to feed 2 at the
same time without them hitting their heads.2) I'm long
in the torso so using a pillow never got the baby(ies)
close enough to the food source.3) I found it confusing
to try to nurse 2 at the same time and preferred the
1:1 time (for example, both not always hungry at the
same time; even if they start eating at the same time,
don't finish at the same time, 1 or both might get the
'wiggles' while eating, etc)I was must successful
nursing in bed using a backrest pillow with arm support
