1. Mature Australian Live-in Au Pair available now (who wants
multiples)
--------------------------------------------------------
debspr - 5/2/2012 12:17 am
There is an amazing au pair who is available now from
Australia that I thought would be great for a twins+
family. I have spoken to her several times and she
seems very on the ball. I've had 15 au pairs and I
would hire her. She is very mature, motivated but
doesn't have a driver's license so she would be best
suited for a family in the city or in a central area,
near parks. If you are interested in her, call me on
415-990-7571 or email me (DebSchwarz@mac.com) and I can
send you her application, photos and her references.
The cost of an au pair is $360 a week for 45 hours a
week (that's only $8 an hour) and includes agency fee,
their weekly stipend and medical insurance. Here's a
bit about her. Hello families! My names Natalie, I am
19 years old and I currently reside in Brooklyn, NY.
For 4 months I have been caring for an adorable 1 year
old boy but his parents are having some personal issues
so I asked to be placed with another family. I have 8
months left as an au pair and am praying to find a
fantastic family in the Bay Area, as I love San
Francisco and already have a friend there! Last year I
worked for 10 months in a child care centre in Sydney
Australia. I worked mostly in the nursery surrounded by
children aged 0-2, I also occasionally worked in the
other rooms which managed the toddlers and
preschoolers. I would work with 4 babies at a time by
myself or 6 toddlers at a time. I excel working with
more kids then less and are hoping for a family who has
2 or more children! I love a challenge and excel when
put in the right environment! I do not drive but make
up for this in public transportation, I have been
catching it by myself since I was 13 and I have nannied
before and taken the children I care for on public
transport with me to get to their classes. I love the
beach as I have grown up on one, so I am a good
swimmer!I am very excited to talk with you all:) Thank
you so much for your time and speak to you
soon!NatalieDeb SchwarzChildcare and Multiples

Hey Holly, Our pediatrician has a handout titled "Age
Appropriate Toys and Toys to Avoid" that breaks down
toys appropriate for newborns to 14-year-olds - boys
and girls. Maybe ask your pediatrician if he/she has
such a list? Otherwise, I can scan ours and email you
directly. Hugs to you all! Helen and Blue

I would recommend one that has a pot to empty instead
of one where the "pot" slides out to empty. We have
both, and the sliding one can get hard to
empty...spillage, etc!! Awful when it gets stuck
during sliding!! The one with the pot has handles on
either side too. I found my kids liked that! Nothing
fancy.I would not recommend the one where the seat
attaches to the big toilet. The only reason is my son
at 2 years old, found it before we installed it and he
put it over his head! Dad had to CUT it off. I wasn't
there, but it sounded AWFUL!!! When I got home, Sean
had a ring around his forehead, but it disappeared
after bath. (Stop laughing) :)--- On Mon, 4/30/12,

or attachment for the regular toilet). Wondering what
trainer potties you would recommend. Thanks!Add your

If you're planning on attending tonight's event, please
remember that Halleck St. is now closed. You can still
come in the Marina gate and drive directly to Sports
Basement. If you're coming from the west side, they've
re-opened Lincoln so you can drop down to Old Mason
road using that one street that goes by the old
stables.
