We currently have the double snap and go for our 5
month old b/g twins, which has served us well until
now. We are now moving to San Francisco and I expect
negotiating those hills in the snap n' go might not be
that easy! We will live in the Inner sunset and do plan
to take the twins for walks in the neighborhood and to
the park. Would appreciate the advice of all you SF
moms about which stroller may be best. I had thought
of buying the City Mini but want to seek your opinions.
Thanks!!

Karuna, I just got my city mini 3 days ago and love
it!! We too had a double snapand go, but the girls
quickly outgrew it. They are so many features thatone
has to consider when buying a double stroller, and this
is really apersonal choice but I decided to get a
city mini for the followingfeatures:- side by side
(tandem strollers are not as good because the babe in
therear seat might kick the front seat and the
back seat has a limited view)- SUPER lightweight 26.6
lbs- super easy to fold and store (stores easier
because it has a standingfold)- seat width is 12" and
26" from seat to canopy (compared to otherstrollers
this is big)- 50lb weight limit for each child- easy
maneuverability- at 29" wide--gets through doorways
without anyproblem-the standard canopies on the city
mini are larger than any otherstroller--period!The
downside to the city mini is:- storage is not huge and
isn't easy to access especially when the seatsare
reclined all the way down (almost flat)---but I found
alternative waysto remedy this problem--SEE BELOW- the
seats face outward only (Stroll Air & Bugaboo Donkey
face both waysbut cost double or more and I decided
that it is more important for mygirls to see the world
than for me to constantly be looking at them-
plusthere are 2 peek-a-boo windows on those huge
canopiesI purchased: * J.L. Childress Double Wide
Stroller Organizer* --it fitsthe city mini perfectly
and has 2 cup/drink holders and 3 zippered pocketsand
*Think King Mighty Buggy Hook for Stroller 2 Pack*
--- when placed onthe handle, I can stretch the strap
of the diaper bag across the strollerand it holds it
securely. These additions do not prevent it from
foldingflat. I hope this helps!

Hi KarunaI have the City Select tandem stroller. So far
so good. The girls are still in the car seats right
now, and since it is a tandem stroller I switch who
gets shotgun every time I go out. Now that they are
getting older I can almost put them in their stroller
seats which can configure about 15 different ways... I
have the snap n go as well, and after using my city
select I can't go back to using it. The ride and
handling is so much better on the city select although
it is heavier. I am not a runner so that was not
necessary for me. I am a strolling mom :-)The only
down side so far is the price! It is
pricey.http://www.cityselectstrollers.net/p-419-baby-jogger-city-select-double-stroller-in-amethyst.aspxWelcome
to the neighborhood!Jennifer
