I agree.... new born/infant twins are PLENTY to keep a
nanny busy, and having 3 to watch from 2 households
seems overwhelming and likely counterproductive. I
can't even imagine the logistics. (Something like
that could work maybe after they're 2 or 3 or
something, especially if they all know each other
already....) HOWEVER - there are still lots of
OTHER things you can share.... Costco/target/etc runs
(& supplies!), walks/outings, your nannies could get
together WITH their charges, you can take turns making
larger meals and delivering to the other, etc.
Resources management, especially in those early days,
is SO important, and anything you can do to simplify is
a good idea.Good luck to ALL of you - how nice that all
3 little ones will have friends so close by!

I don't think there is a nanny out there who can care
for 3 infants well alone. I guess a triplet mom would
know better but I'd say no. When the kids are older
maybe but not infants. I could barely care for my twins
+ 3 year old at the same time by myself.
