Multiplicity needs a new editor!! As I get acclimated
to my new role as POM president, it means I'll need to
step down from being the editor. The new editor will
get to oversee the transition of the print version of
Multiplicity to a much more dynamic, flexible online
version on a forthcoming new Club website. I will be
available to work with my replacement, and that person
will step into the job supported by a terrific team of
regular and revolving contributors (e.g., the copy
editor, layout designer, ads coordinator, birth
announcements collector, recipe contributor, et al.)
Outside of the Editor's Message, it's more about
managing the admin stuff - additional writing (though
welcome) is totally optional. This is a fantastic way
to "give back" to the Club, as well as add to your
resume, network, get writing practice, and get access
to a lot of multiples-relevant information.Please
contact me via editor@sfpom.org for more details.

Hi all,Below is a message from Speedo about the
stretching out issue. FYI.SusanDear Susan,Thank you for
contacting us at SpeedoUSA.com.We apologize for the
difficulties you have experienced with your
purchase. Our swimsuits do require certain care because
pool chemicals and oil residues can be particularly
damaging to swimwear containing Lycra spandex. To
prevent chemical damage to Speedo swimwear, it is
important to rinse your Speedo suit in cold water
immediately after each use. Always hang-dry your suit
in a well-ventilated space, as mildew will cause
premature deterioration of swimwear containing Lycra
spandex. Also, Speedo does not recommend swimsuit
spinners. For further assistants please contact the
number listed below for assistance with items purchased
in a land based store location. One of our
representatives would be glad to further assist
you.Phone: 800-547-8770Please let us know if you have
any additional inquiries.Be sure to visit our Newest
Arrivals category online and shop the latest swimwear
trends for men, women, girls, and boys at
www.SpeedoUSA.com. We appreciate your
patronage.Sincerely,Linda

Topic: letting nanny go
Hi, We had hired a nanny for our twins "on trial" since she
has no twin experience...

If you can afford it and it's not a situation where you
are present with the kids while your nanny is working,
I would keep her until you are ready to transition and
then give her two weeks severance. I think this is
fair to her, as it gives her the two weeks' pay, and
actually puts her in a better position in that she can
use that paid time to start her search for another job,
instead of trying to both work and worry about finding
other employment. Obviously, it also gives you the
peace of mind that your children aren't being cared for
by someone who may be upset or not fully focused on
their care.
