Most that we interviewed were 30-35/hr. The one we
chose was 35, and worth every penny. Honestly, she was
a lifesaver and SO great with our babies! Her name is
Cassia Appel, and she is currently just starting an
8-10 week stint with my coworker (yes, she's the best
hand-me- down we have given anyone!) but if you arent
due for a few months give her a call. 415-368-2281.
You could also search her name on this forum, shes
worked with twins alot. Congratulations!

The co-op services are more expensive. The ones I
contacted ran $40-$45 an hour and work 10-6 or 9-7 for
twins.

I've never seen anything bigger then 9oz, though an
Amazon search might turn something up. We use
Lifefactory bottles. They are glass with a silicone
sleeve and just a simple nipple. I can't stand all the
fiddly little parts of other bottles. They only go up
to 8 oz though you can actually fit about 9oz in them.

of seats. They all love it .

I have a toyota sienna and love it. Yes, it's a
minivan, and it took some convincing for my husband to
'allow' it, but I am happy very day I drive it. We have
filled it up several times now (with grandparents and
friends), and the trunk is a nice size for a stroller.
I also think the sliding doors are a huge plus, given
that parking spots can be tight. And I thought the
remote door opener would be an unnecessary gadget, but
I use it every day (and am thankful for it). I Ben wish
I had gotten the remote trunk opener). Lastly, Toyota
has great reliability ratings from consumer report. We
just started research in cars for our secon car, and
noticed that the Tesla sedan has a third row (backwards
facing) - in case you might be interested I that ;-)Goo
luck!

Yes, we LOVE LOVE our honda pilot. It's great when we
have playdates and pick up parents and kids to go on
outings. It's nice to take one car. I've had 6
children in the car before with another adult in front
of course. It's great! From:

I have to agree on the Toyota Highlander. It's great
having the option of the 3rd row to transport more
people. Then when you don't need the seats, there is
plenty of trunk space. I think it's a must especially
for those who aren't wanting to drive a minivan. It has
basically all the functionality without the look. =)

It probably depends on where you spend most of your
time... you might be ok with just one. When we needed
a gate near the top of our stairs (where our main
living area is), we used zip-ties to affix a couple of
segments from a kidco gates to the free-floating
wrought iron bannister rail thing, to create a landing
at the top, and used a gate segment. Depending on your
height, and where you locate those, some kinds are easy
enough to step over (as opposed to opening each time).
We liked what we had cause it was pretty easy to open
with one hand (for an adult, that is!) and it was
pretty "clean" looking... not as busy as some, and was
really easy to reconfigure as needed as the kids grew
and we needed to corral them, or our stereo
equipment/Xmas tree/whatever.

I wish had heard about the Tundra idea earlier. I
tried to convince my wife on the FJ Cruiser because
they have easily accessible back seats and tons of
storage but the Tundra may have been an easier
sell...We ended up getting a Murano which is awesome
but storage space is seriously lacking.
