This is from our dog trainer. Just an FYI if you have a
dog.----- Forwarded Message -----From: fjp To:

A truly dangerous dog walker Dear Friends,Sylvia and
Iwitnessed a truly awful dog walker today... We need to
spread the word to ourfriends and clients in the hope
that they will spread the word too... the end result
being no new clients/victims and existing clients will
find out and find a new walker.
http://danzdoggiedaytrips.com/Here is what we saw:He
put 4 dogs ina sit stay on the Crissy Field grassy
airstrip, quite close to the Old Mason streetroad which
is quite a busy street, then walked across the street
to his car (dogs off leash and on a stay onthe grass),
opened the door of his car, let 5 or 6 more dogs run
across thestreet to the grass. We held our breath as
this was happening. If that wasn't enough, he then put
all the dogs, must have beenabout 10 or so, in a stay
on the grass, left them there, crossed the busy road to
his car, GOT IN HIS car (possibly to get something),
then returned to thedogs. For some reason (EGO maybe?)
he did this several times. We also witnessedhim
throwing dogs to the ground and actually punching them.
It was horrible.Everyone was sick who saw it.The good
news is we (Sylvia, Jonlyn, me, and Wild Bill (a dog
walker who wears acowboy hat, cant remember his
business name) were able to file a writtencomplaint
with the Park Police Officer, who, as he was driving
up saw two of thewalker's dogs in the middle of the
busy road. Thank Goodness he saw it. The citation he
will recieve is basically "creating a hazardous
situation".If people want Evil Kneival walking their
dog, it should be their choice. I know I would not want
my dog used as some sort of ego trip... which is how I
interpret this man's actions. It truly is a sad state
out there in the dog walking world. That dogs make it
home physically safe is a miracle. Cant comment on
their emotional states. Please let your friends know
about this man. I have NEVER criticized a dog walker on
this forum, ever. But, I feel it is my responsibility
to share this information with you. Also, It is my
opinion that only about 30% of dog walkers truly know
what they are doing and keep dogs safe both physically
and behaviorally. I know that number is small, but from
my observations, that is the number.Lastly, I have a
dog walker questionairre people can use to interview
and help guide their decision making process when
choosing a dog walker. I have it up on
http://smartypup.zenfolio.com/ under "SmartyPup!
Articles". Please pass it along to your friends.Best
Wags,FawnOwner SmartyPup!ps he has one review on yelp
that you should read.http://www.yelp.com/biz/danz-

4. Night nanny questions
--------------------------------------------------------
colevalleymom - 9/4/2012 1:50 pm
We didn't use a night nanny with our first but are
considering it with our twins due in February and had a
few questions since we are new to this...hoping you
experienced moms out there can help.1) What is the
difference between a night nanny and doula, if any? It
seems that postings I have come across for "night
nannies" indicated a lower rate than "night doulas."2)
How early do you need to arrange for a night nanny and
how do you schedule a start date when your actual
delivery date is uncertain. 3) Do you commit to a
certain period of time up front or is it possible to
extend the end date if more help is needed?4) How long
did you have a night nanny? Thanks so much!

bbartlett19702901@yahoo.com My caregiver's name is:
Luci PolliMy caregiver's contact information is:
lulollipolli@yahoo.com or 415-640-0523 Time employed
for our family: 5 yearsCA Drivers License: YesLocations
she is interested working: Marina/Cow Hollow/Pacific
Heights Type of employment she is seeking: FT long term
employment with infant twins or triplets As our twin
girls head off to kindergarten, our amazing nanny is
looking for a new family of infant twins or triplets to
care for beginning in September. Luci has 15 years of
experience with twins and triplets in San Francisco.
Throughout Luci's 5 years with us, people have stopped
us on the street to tell us how wonderful she is with
our girls. She has loved them, read to them, played
with them, taken them to classes and on outings,
prepared wonderful meals for them, started play groups
for them and helped develop them into playful, polite,
outgoing, bright, generous, bi-lingual little girls.
She was a knowledgeable and supportive partner through
all the major milestones (solid foods, sleep training,
potty training, pre-school) and her reliability (she
has never missed a day of work in 5 years) and
confidence allowed my husband and I to live our dual
career lives without worry. She has been a blessing in
our lives and her legacy will live in the hearts of our
little girls who love her so dearly. If you are
interested in speaking to Luci about an opportunity,
please contact her at lulollipolli@yahoo.com or

We loved our night nanny. She was $25/hr, which was the
best rate I've seen. She's available now--I just posted
a referral for her. Her name is Sara Stuart and her
number is 415-887-8308.

We have a Mazda 7 and we are thrilled with it. It seats
6 (three rows of 2) and the back rows both fold down,
so the space is really versatile. Sliding doors too!We
have three children and no parking in our building, so
we needed something small on the outside and big on the
inside:) This really works well for us.
