Luci PolliMy caregiver's contact information is:
lulollipolli@yahoo.com or 415-640-0523 Time employed
for our family: 5 yearsCA Drivers License: YesLocations
she is interested working: Marina/Cow Hollow/Pacific
Heights Type of employment she is seeking: FT long term
employment with infant twins or triplets As our twin
girls head off to kindergarten, our amazing nanny is
looking for a new family of infant twins or triplets to
care for beginning in September. Luci has 15 years of
experience with twins and triplets in San Francisco.
Throughout Luci's 5 years with us, people have stopped
us on the street to tell us how wonderful she is with
our girls. She has loved them, read to them, played
with them, taken them to classes and on outings,
prepared wonderful meals for them, started play groups
for them and helped develop them into playful, polite,
outgoing, bright, generous, bi-lingual little girls.
She was a knowledgeable and supportive partner through
all the major milestones (solid foods, sleep training,
potty training, pre-school) and her reliability (she
has never missed a day of work in 5 years) and
confidence allowed my husband and I to live our dual
career lives without worry. She has been a blessing in
our lives and her legacy will live in the hearts of our
little girls who love her so dearly. If you are
interested in speaking to Luci about an opportunity,
please contact her at lulollipolli@yahoo.com or

I am definitely not an experienced mom but my twins are
coming anytime now and we just went through this
process of finding a night doula. I do think the terms
doula and nanny can be used interchangeably and some
doulas also nanny and vice versa so it can get
confusing. All of the doulas we interviewed, however,
were certified through DONA and many we found had
lactation certification as well. So they all do have
some sort of professional training experience. They
also provide light housekeeping help as well.Since we
decided to go with a night doula specifically, we did
find that they are pretty much $35/hour for twins. I am
not sure what the going rate for nannies are but I
would imagine you could find someone for cheaper. Our
due date is technically October 21st but I am 34 weeks
now and can go at anytime. We just found our doula but
I would start looking a couple months ahead of time so
you don't have to stress but you shouldn't have a
problem finding someone who is available. If you
contact someone and they are not available, they can
usually put you in touch with someone else who is
available. We also found that they are pretty flexible
on the front end and back end as far as timing. They
know that (esp with twins) they can come early so they
plan for that and we aren't quite sure how long we are
going to use ours and she is completely flexible. We
are starting with 2 months, 7 nights/week and we are
going to play it by ear if we want to cut back or if we
will still need the help (which I am sure we will). We
have a little contract that we will be signing that is
flexible on dates.I hope this is helpful-good luck!

I agree that you should wait 2 years. i am 26 months
post partum, and it wasnt until months 22-24 when my
tummy finally started getting closer-to-normal. i have
diastatis so i know it will never be completely flat
again, but it looks MUCH better at 2 years PP than it
did at 1 year PP.
