1. Baby monitor for twins?

Does any have a baby monitor they recommend... we have
two cribs set up on either side of the nursery. Would
like a monitor that has good sound and night vision and
can see both cribs. Are there any?

We use a Motorola and love it. Battery life is not
great but it's easy enough to plug it in after a few
hours (lasts through naptime easily). Range is great
(works from top floor to basement of house), night
vision is excellent, and sound is almost too good (we
have to turn it all the way down). Love the lights for
sound monitoring (flashes red if it's really loud even
if you have the sound off) and the zoom features. We
got the model with a camera that pans so that we could
see both cribs with one camera (cheaper), though there
are also models that use two cameras (the panning on
this particular camera is nearly silent, so does not
disturb the babies). Only complaint: no clock.

Topic: Air travel question
I know this topic comes up a lot, so I'll try to be
specific. We are flying to Chicago...

I'd also vote for the SNG with carseats. You can gate
check them (we did this at 4 months) but, perhaps more
importantly, if there are extra seats on the plane the
gate agent will often let you bring one or both
carseats on and place in an empty seat. The ideal (in
my opinion) is to score one extra seat and bring one
carseat on, gate check the other. If you have
three-seat rows, this will allow you and your hubby to
sit in the same row (which you cannot do with two lap
infants unless the third seat is unoccupied - there are
only four oxygen masks overhead, so four people max per
row). Have fun!

+ 1 for Cathy and kaluzoo. That was exactly our
experience at 4 months.
