1. Upcoming class for Dads

I wanted to spread the word about this awesome class
specific to dads for those interested. If you can't
make the Dec 11th class, there is another one offered
on Jan 17th (same time/location). Early Childhood
Matters invites all dads to build a healthy, life-long
connection with their children, especially in the first
five years of their child's life. Our fatherhood
workshops invite Dads to take a journey into the brain,
emotions, needs and questions of your child in order to
become a more effective and connected parent. We will
also look at questions centered around the role(s) of
dads today amidst the pressures and pace of the modern
world. Place: St. Agnes Spiritual Life Center, 1611 Oak
StDate: Tuesday, December 11, 2012Time: 7-9:00 pmCost:

Can anyone recommend a good shoe for my almost one year
old who has chubby feet. I tried some if the robeez
type shoes on her and they were so tight, I couldn't
get her chubby foot in. She is almost walking, so what
would you recommend that is easy to fit on, soft soles
and affordable. Thanks!

MamaWobin and twin_boys_on_twinpeaks, thanks so much
for sharing your experiences! I'm waiting to hear if
going back part-time is a possibility. I really like
the facetime idea and will do that. And yikes, that
inflexible nanny sounded like a doozy. I have a good
feeling about ours. keeping my fingers crossed. I'm
currently sorting through what is important to me that
she do like I do and what to let go of and say we'll
just do things differently and that's alright. Not so
easy.

One more option -- I got a business account with Chase
(where I already had my other bank accounts) and they
waived the fees for the first year (then it was about
$40 a month after that). It's a little bit of work in
that you have to go online and "process" the payroll (I
paid every two weeks by direct deposit), but it gives
you notifications about when your state and federal
taxes need to be paid, and it generates the forms for
you.
