Any recommendations on a good humidifier for the winter
months. My twins are 3 months old and they both seem a
bit congested since we have the heater going on
throughout the night. We have a warm mist humidifier
but looking to buy a new one. Any suggestions? Should I
get warm or cold mist? It's all very confusing online
since there are so many varied opinions. Also, any recs
on air purifiers? I know they range in price and
functionality but looking for something to have in our
small condo (900sqft). Thank you in advance.

I got the Crane cool air
humidifier:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005PK7RW4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&keywords=humidifier&qid=1354081153&sr=8-2I
was so happy with it I got a second one for my son's
room. It's a big help for stuffy noses in the winter,
and this one has a dial with a wide range of flow
options, from very little to a ton of mist. I had
another cheaper one from Walgreens that would put out
so much mist that the floor would be wet by morning.

4. Donate clothes?

bhavna12 - 11/27/2012 5:41 pm
I have some clothes that I would like to donate to
SFPOM to help any families that might need 0-3 month
clothes for boy and girl. How do I donate to SFPOM? Is
there a dropoff? Is there a tax deduction with such a
donation? Thank you

5. Did any of you NOT experience a decrease in supply when you
returned to work FT?
--------------------------------------------------------
jeccat - 11/27/2012 4:37 pm
Hi moms-- I have been feeding my twins breast milk
exclusively for a couple of months now, but I am
returning to work FT next week and am concerned about
my supply going forward. When I have pumped in place of
a feed I get a good amount (8-10 oz total), but I only
pump to replace a feed a few times per week and I am
worried what will happen when I replace 3 feeds M-F
with three pumps per day. Did ny of you not experience
a supply drop when you went back to work? What helped?
Thanks!

6. Advice for getting 2-year-old twins to sleep in their new
beds
--------------------------------------------------------
drkarenhorton - 11/27/2012 9:55 am
My nearly 2-year-old twin girls now have "party time"
for nearly 2 hours when they are supposed to be going
to sleep. We recently had to convert their cribs into
beds as they figured out how to escape from the cribs.
Now bedtime is a struggle and just when one falls
asleep, the other runs around the room or climbs
overtop and lands on her head, waking her up for more
play time. I've tried lights on, lights off, door
open, closed, me sleeping in there, standing in the
doorway, closing the doors and ignoring them... so
far, no success. Any advice on regaining some sanity
at bedtime? They are still napping during the day for
1.5 - 3.5 hours after lunch and were good sleepers
until the bed conversion. Thanks in advance for your
input!Karen

Hello:wanted to get some suggestions for traveling with
twins. This was a great posting btw.we are traveling to
chicago in the 2nd week of December to visit my
husbands family and wanted to know what you all
suggest. We have 2 graco snugride 22 and also thinking
of bringing the double snap n' go. We will most likely
just leave the snap n' go there since we will be
visiting Chicago a few times in the next 6-8 months. Do
we need to buy car bases as well? My in-laws bought a
car seat and base (unsure of which one but I know it's
not a graco) for us but not sure if it will fit snap
n' go. Any other suggestions of what we should bring
for the cold besides winter clothing for the kids. we
have a bundleme for both car seats and multiple
blankets as well.
