Our au pair gave us a night out on New Year's Eve
(unexpected) and we are looking to go out for dinner
and maybe even stay awake until midnight!Any
suggestions for places to go in Marin? We live in San
Rafael but would be willing to travel to another town
for a fun dinner. Thanks in advance for your
recommendations!Karen HortonMom to 2-year-old twins &

Hi all, wondering about your experiences with switching
to partial formula. The boys are almost 10 weeks and
exclusively breastfed, but I'm considering
supplementing - solely to help get me a little more
freedom. I'm afraid I'm putting too much pressure on
myself to make it to 6 months. Has anyone had
experience with this? Does supplementing help get you
out of the house or sleep more? thanks and happy NY!

I've been supplementing from the beginning, which was a
little over 3 months ago. It works well for me, in fact
I'm thinking about supplementing more just so I don't
have to pump at all at night. Try not to put pressure
(I know, easier said than done) on yourself and see how
the supplementing works out for you.

I'd say don't worry because everyone tells me not to
worry. My twins are even more different than yours. My
little one rolls and grabs but likes the exersaucer
only so so. My bigger one can't roll but grabs even
better and loves the exersaucer. Both line the jumperoo
better though. My bigger one even jumps.

You may have to be cruel to be kind here, which isn't
for everyone. I'd try:- cutting her nap time in the
evening- you don't mention if they're a decent weight,
but of they are you could start giving her water when
she wakes instead of milk? It'll be tough, but I'm
afraid that while you're giving her milk every time she
wakes in the early hours, she'll keep waking for
it.Good luck!
