Please join us at Aqua Spa for a very special Mom's
Night Out! Wine and appetizers will be covered by
SFPOM. As a very special treat for the first 15 ladies
who RSVP - the club will put $20 towards a mani/pedi
for you! You'll need only to cover the balance which
is $15 plus any tip. (Mani/Pedi's are $35)While
everyone is welcome to enjoy a service, the club can
only cover the first 15 people who RSVP. If we have a
no show from that group, we can then go down the wait
list. All are invited to attend and enjoy a drink,
snacks and socializing regardless of whether or not you
have a service so we hope to see as many of you as
possible. Expectant Mom's - You're Mom's too so this
includes you too :)In order to ensure the salon is
staffed appropriately for our group, we do need RSVP's
NO LATER than Friday, 3/15.Event Details &

A big thank you to James and the other organizers of
the SFPOM Spring Family outing! This was the first time
we made it to one of the family outings for more than a
few minutes, and it was such a fun time!

My boys are same age and almost exactly same sleep
schedule but relative to my older boy I think they are
doing great. :) we used Angelique millette when he was
almost one and she was really good but I wouldn't pay
that much for help a second time.

We had a good experience with Karen Schwarzbach, from
Babies to Sleep. (http://babiestosleep.com/)At 5.5
months our kids were waking up 3x per night
(separately), and not napping well at all. We were all
tired, fussy and miserable. After a week of working
with Karen the naps were improving, and the kids were
only waking up 1x per night. After another 3 weeks we
were able to eliminate that last nighttime wake up, and
they've been pretty solid sleepers since then. I hope
you find something - a person or technique - that will
help you get more sleep! Good luck!

I wouldn't worry about overfeeding your kids. I think
that's almost impossible - generally, kids have a great
sense of when they're hungry and how much they need.
What are your concerns about overfeeding? Are you
worried they'll gain too much weight? Or do you want
them to eat more solid food? For their first year, most
of their nutrients come from BM/formula, and solids are
more for experimenting/play/getting used to it. So I'd
offer them as much formula as they want.We offered
solids 30-60 minutes after a bottle, so that they
wouldn't be too hungry to be curious and playful with
it, but they wouldn't be so full that they really
didn't want to ingest anything. But I know people have
all different approaches/schedules for starting solids
- that's just what worked for us.The book Child of Mine
by Ellyn Satter is an excellent book about feeding,
from infancy through toddlerhood. It was recommended by
a nutritionist at our hospital, and by several other
moms I know.Good luck!
