My name is: Juliet RodriguezMy phone number is: (510)
908-4259My email address is: julietvenzon@gmail.comMy
caregiver's name is: Clarissa GomezMy caregiver's
contact information is:
clarissagomez209@gmail.comShe/he is looking for:
Clarissa is looking to work 3 days a week (or 25 hours)
on either Mon., Wed., Fri., or Sat. Her schedule will
open up more in the beginning of June where she will
also be availabl Tue. & Thurs. as well. I employed
this caregiver from May 2011 to currentI highly
recommend her/him because: Clarissa is a young,
energetic college student who grew up in the Bay Area.
She has become a part of our family and has been a
life saver while pregnant and through the twins' first
years of life. She is very effecient when she works
and is able to handle twins well. She helped me with
feeding, cleaning kids' space, doing laundry, setting
up meals for the kids (and us), taking the kids out,
pureeing, giving meds, and taking them out on her own
to Recess or errands (if I have some for her). I also
helped train her for some basic breastfeeding skills
and brought her to lactation appointments. She works
well independently, communicates well, is efficient,
and my family and extended family love her! She also
has a passion and special interest in working with
families who have children with special needs. I hired
her while pregnant with the twins so she can help with
my older daughter (6 at the time) who has special
needs. She is able to do basic wound care, bolus
feeds, pureeing food, therapy (PT, OT, Speech) carry
your child to change positions from chair to wherever
you need, etc. She has past experience as a special
needs caregiver in addition experience as a nanny (to
siblings of different ages as well as twins).Beginning
in April, Clarissa will be available to pick up to 3
days a week on any of these days: Mon, Wed, Fri, or
Sat. Clarissa currently works for us 4 days/wk (MWF &
Sa) while she is in school on Tue. & Thur. for
pre-nursing. It is with great sadness that we will be
going down in time (my mom will be moving in with us so
we will be saving money). She will continue to work 1
weekday with us (negotiable on which day) and possibly
some Saturdays with us if she is available.
Optional:Your child's age: Twins are 21 months oldDoes
the caregiver drive (yes/no): YESAny certifications
(eg. CPR): YESRecent Immunizations: TdaPTB Test
(yes/no): YES (current w/in a year)

All three of my children had AD/HD symptoms that are
now resolved. There is whole contingent of Dr.'s in the
Bay Area that do NOT believe AD/HD is a predominately a
genetic issue. These Dr.'s will investigate underlying
issues and treat AD/HD biomedically. Many children
really suffer from chronic yeast, food allergies or
heavy metal toxicity, etc. and will present as if they
have AD/HD. Chronic yeast symptoms are inappropriate
silliness, attention issues, mood liability,
anxiety.... and often there are no physical symptoms of
chronic yeast. I highly recommend that you investigate
potential underlying medical issues prior to accepting
AD/HD diagnoses. My DD had high copper levels, low
zinc, low digestive enzymes and high yeast/fungus and
was completely different child in 8 weeks inclusive of
a five pound weight gain in that period (yes, she was
underweight due to low digestive enzymes). Sometimes
the turn around can be as quickly as 8 weeks but not
always. Depends on the child's issues. Our
pediatrician's medical practice is located in Belmont
'Whole Child Wellness'. Our pediatrician is closed to
new patients but will sometimes accept a new patient if
referred by another Dr. There is another Dr. within
the practice that I hear is also fantastic and is
accepting new patients Dr. Chandra. You are welcome to
message me through forum if you would like to know
more.

We have been going to Peppermint Cuts in the Marina.
Lily is wonderful with young babies/toddlers
(especially the babies that keep turning their head to
look).Address: 1508 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94123
Phone:(415) 292-6177 We have tried Kids' cuts in SF off
of San Jose Ave as well as the one that used to be in
San Bruno on San Mateo Ave. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THOSE
TWO PLACES FOR BABIES (0-2 years). I've had a bad
experience at both places for my 3 kids. The last one
was the Kids' Cuts location in SF on San Jose Ave when
my baby boys were 13 months. They had the look of
death when we walked in w/ twins. During the haircut
the lady had one of my sons in a "choke hold" to hold
him still while he was crying (he was sitting in one of
the cars). I asked if I could sit him on my lap and
she said no, so we had to endure screaming and him in a
choke hold.
