The next Parents' Night out is around the corner! Get a
sitter and take a well deserved break together... or
draw straws to see who stays home and who comes out!
We'll be meeting for snacks (or dinner) and drinks at
the Connecticut Yankee, on the corner of Connecticut
and 17th, in Potrero Hill. SFPOM will cover a drink and
some bites, and of course some great (and
understanding) conversation/ company. Please RSVP on
the events tab. Hope to see many of you there!Event

2. Reminder: Parents Night Out this week!

jessicafsf - 4/15/2013 9:58 am
Hope you can join us for a drink, some food and some
good conversation/advice/commiseration at Connecticut
Yankee this Thursday! Parents Night out is one of the
benefits of SFPOM membership, and a great way to get to
know some of the other twin parents - many of whom are
lovely people with interesting stories. (Some, of
course, are unpleasant people with boring stories, but
they won't be at the event - promise.) Check the events
tab for more information, and to RSVP. Hope to see you
there!

Re-posting an interesting piece...popped up in another
SF parenting group I subscribe to. Raises concerns a
UCSF neurologist has about the use of white noise with
infants:

4. Unopened formula for a family in need/donation center?
--------------------------------------------------------
lbwehrley - 4/15/2013 9:26 am
Hi Moms,I just posted the unopened formulas I have on
the classified ads but I'm wondering if instead I can
give them to a family in need (perhaps the group
sponsors one) or a donation center in SF. Does anyone
have any ideas on this?Thanks,Laura

our girls are 20 months. off and on for a few months
now (when diapers were dry after naps), i'd take them
into the bathroom one at a time and try out the potty.
sometimes it's worked. sometimes not. but, it NEVER
works when i bring both in at once; it's total chaos
with both... :)
