1. Kid-size educational table and chairs for sale

Hello all,We are selling one gently used 48" round
table and six chairs. They are all from an educational
store in the East Bay called Lakeshore Learning where
schools and teachers shop, so they are very high
quality. Perfect for a playroom, living room or
bedroom. Toddlers who come to our house fit in the
chairs and use the table as well as our 12-year-old
twins, so great for all ages! Our 12-year-olds look
pretty big in them, so we're getting new stuff. Photos
attached and links below. Would love to sell all of
them together, but am willing to split them up. If you
live in SF and buy the whole set, I'll deliver them if
you don't have a car big enough. Would be happy to get
$250 for it all or make me an offer. Please respond to
kelly94127@yahoo.com if you're interested and would
like more information.Table (One):* Red * 48"
diameter* 15" from the floor to the top of the table at
minimum height; 21" from the floor to the top of the
table at maximum height (it's adjustable, which is
wonderful and adds years to its usage!)* Original
price: $229* Link:

2. Help with 9 month feeding schedule
--------------------------------------------------------
ppatcat - 5/29/2013 6:16 pm
My brain is going 'round and 'round over this and
finally, I've decided I need help from the SFPOM
collective wisdom. For several months now, our b/g twins
have been on a fantastic feeding/napping/sleeping
schedule that has worked for everyone:7:30 wake,
change, have 2 oz food and 7 oz formula8:30-9:30/10 nap
(finger food snack, sippy cup water)11:30 lunch, 2oz
food and 7oz formula1-2:30 nap3:30 2oz food and 7oz
formula4:30-5:30 nap6:15 bath7:15 8 oz bottle7:40
asleep through the night until 7:30amThis has been an
uber fantastic schedule for months now and though I'm
loathe to change it, I think I have to because I think
my daughter in particular is hungry and needs something
between the 3:30 meal and her 7:15 bottle of formula.
Now, here's the rub --how do I get three meals, 2
snacks and a bedtime bottle in during the day without
going absolutely nuts?! I feel like this schedule
allows me a few breaks during the day to do something
other than think about a meal.Looking on various
websites and the archives it seems I might have to
separate the formula from the meals --how do I do
this?! I can't figure out how to do this and still have
some down time...or maybe I shouldn't think about down
time? I'd love to hear what your schedule is/was at 9
months, so please do share!Thanks!

Hang in there. I can't remember exactly when we changed
things up, but at some point we moved our girls to more
regular meal times. We have an older toddler, so it was
just more sane all around if we were all eating at the
same times. They also dropped the 3rd nap making dinner
possible. So it was something like this:7am - wake up,
breastfeed8am-ish - breakfast of solids9/9:30 - bottle
then nap11:30/12/whenever wakeup - lunch of
solids2pm-ish - bottle then nap3:30/whenever wakeup -
snack5:30-ish - dinner of solids7pm - breastfeed then
bedtimeI was never very good with fitting in a morning
snack since my girls seem to sleep most of the morning.
We also don't bathe them every day. No way I could fit
that in to our schedule, ha!It will get easier as they
get older and eat more regular food, really.

Good luck (and yes, it sounds like you've had a dream
schedule - congrats!).Here was our 9-12 month schedule
(they were only on two naps by then, and now at 13
months are transitioning to one):7am: wake, bottle
(7-9oz). followed by oatmeal + applesauce9am: nap11am:
bottle (6-9oz), "lunch"1-2 or 3: nap3pm: bottle (6-9oz)
& snack (though usually it was more like lunch
#2)6:30pm: dinner7pm: bottles (6-9oz)7:30pm: bed(bath
3-4x/week)It sounds like the main difference for us was
the 2 naps (vs 3) and larger meals.Sarah

I'd like to try the Tupler Technique to help with my
diastasis recti. Does anyone have the Tupler Technique
DVD they'd be willing to give/sell?

6. Jeans over size 8 with no buttons??
--------------------------------------------------------
rockchalk90 - 5/29/2013 11:09 am
Hello parents, my kids are now in jeans over size 8
and all the jeans at GAP have buttons which my kids
cannot do. They just aren't strong enough to push the
button through. Anyone have any recommendations on
where to find jeans over size 8 that do not have
buttons that have the snaps or clasp? Or is there a
way to get rid of the button on the jean and add a
snap/clasp?? Anyone have a good place to go to for
kids tailoring. Thanks for any recommendations!!

I have exactly the same problem with my oldest son.
Gymboree often has jeans with elastic waists, and in
the bigger sizes I have had more luck online than in
stores. Hannah Andersen Mini BodenLand's End - they
have great tough elastic waist jeans, but their pants
seem to be a little bit short - they are always the
first pants my son outgrowsSometimes stores like Old
Navy and Crazy 8 have jeans with hooks instead of
buttons.I have had NO LUCK with any tailor I have asked
to replace buttons, and it is incredible frustrating,
because I know exactly how I would do it myself if only
I had the time.

I had read a while back that there was a service that
would come pick up and take away an old hot tub. Could
not find in the archives. Does anyone know about this
service? thank you

I had Preeclampsia with my twins. I was 34 while
pregnant with them. I was able to get to 36 weeks 1 day
for delivery, but I was on bed rest at home from 26
weeks onward and spent week 34 in the hospital. I
finally had an emergency c-section due to a spiked
blood pressure of 140 over 110. The best thing I can
tell you is to TAKE IT EASY. There are a lot of stories
out there about how bedrest doesn't actually help. I
think that is a bunch of baloney. Think about all that
extra weight you are carrying around and all the extra
blood and fluids that you're body is now responsable
for pumping. I would stay off your feet as much as you
can, drink a TON of water, watch your intake of any
salty foods and listen to your doctors. As you know
every single week and day you can keep those babies in
counts. If you have any follow up questions feel free
to email me.
