My wife and I are driving down to LA this weekend with
our 8 month old twins. Does anybody have any tips or
suggestions on making the drive better. We are planning
on leaving early and making at least two stops along
the way to change, feed and let the twins stretch out
on a picnic blanket. Anybody know of any parks close to
I5 that would be easy to pull over to without adding
too many extra miles to our trip. I searched old posts
and found a post about Keck Park in Coalinga that might
work for us. Any other suggestions for stops, would
prefer parks as our twins are starting to crawl now so
I would like to get them out of their seats for a
while. Any other tips on making the trip easier and fun
for the twins? Does leaving early make sense, or should
we plan on leaving late and letting the twins sleep
(dont know if they'll cooperate) most of the way?
Thanks, Rick.

We just moved to SF from New York. Cindy was recommend
to us by a close friend of ours. She is a gem! She is
very nurturing, sweet and kind."We were so stress
out".... She had our boys on a schedule, and we were
totally much calmer by the time she left us.Julie

Congratulations Jill!I had wondered the same thing
while I was pregnant with the boys and we opted to buy
a double Snap & Go while pregnant with the intention of
buying another double stroller. The reality: I worried
about how to take all 3 kids out when I'm by myself.
It is a RARE occasion when I did that and was able to
do it when the twins were newborns. You will need
another person to help you with 3 kids and it's not
neccessary to have all 3 on a stroller. The easiest way
to tote the 3 (we ended up buying a Bumbleride for the
double) was to put the eldest and one of the twins in
your double stroller and "wear" one of the other twins
(we used an Ergo with an insert). Double strollers end
up being pretty heavy so we also did it where we used a
single McClaren for my older and either a double Snap &
Go for the 2nd person or another single stroller w/
carseat attachment (we already had a Peg Perego to do
this) & "wear" the 2nd twin. I hope this is helpful.

We took our 3 kids to KOA Petaluma 5 weeks ago and it
was great. There was a petting zoo, a pool, and a
trampoline thing. I was only there for the night but
the twins went up early with my husband and swam and
ran around. Then my daughter stayed late and did the
same. I have heard that KOA Cloverdale is awesome also.
