HI- Just posting for those of you in the SFUSD school
wait pools for Chinese language programs or Art and
Science-focused programs. Lakeshore Elementary
currently has no wait pool and a few spots in K and a
couple of the upper grades. We're located next to
beautiful Lake Merced and Lowell High School and our
population reflects the diversity of San Francisco. Its
a larger school, so works very well for multiples (we
have triplets there) and they are flexible about your
choice of keeping them together or remaining separate.
We chose to split ours, but they have lunch and
recesses together, plus before and after school on
site- so they share plenty of time and friends. The
school offers:Cantonese and Mandarin before and
after-school programs open 5 days a week to K - 5th
gradeExtended care options to accommodate working
parents from 7:30am - 6:30pmArt and nature-based
learning leveraging 7 gardens, a dedicated art studio
with a pottery kiln and a well-supplied mobile
studioRich diversity and multi-cultural community and
curriculum Extensive play areas with separate yards for
Kinders and 1st gradersExperiential learning including
field trips which reinforce concepts learned in the
classroomSignature Enrichment programs plus extra
consultants which enhance student development in small
group settingsTo learn more about Lakeshore, join us at
the first of our Summer Playdates this Sunday, June 16,
11-2 at Junipero Sera Playground, 300 Stonecrest Dr
(between Broadmoor & Winston Dr) or contact Mimi
Rosenheim (mimzilla@gmail.com) or Ranu Mukherjee .
