1. Frozen embryos

After 5 years of fertility treatments, we finally had
our babies using donor eggs. Incredibly, we still have
9 five day blastocysts, that are in perfect condition,
"on ice".  Our children are now 10 months old and given
the difficulty of my pregnancy and delivery, and being
42, I'm in no position to carry more children myself
and although we could use a gestational carrier to
carry one or two more embryos, we feel like our family
is complete.  But now what to do with those embryos?I
get emotional every time I think of destroying them,
donating them to science seems reasonable but also is a
hard choice, and donating them to another couple seems
strange given they are our children and my children's
siblings who we'll never know. What have others chosen
     to do?

I have kept mine as future HLA potential matches and
for whatever therapeutic options might come from
embryonic cells that might benefit my twins later in
life.  Annual storage cost seems reasonable enough to
justify this rationale.  I otherwise also felt too
          emotional about destroying or donating.
