Just wondering how you all bottle feed your twins at
the same time when you're alone. We have two bouncers
(a baby bjorn and a basic one) that we've been using
and it works but since both babies push up into sitting
it makes me nervous to have them in there for any
extended period of time. Plus we're pushing the weight
limit on the standard bouncer. One baby holds the
bottle sometimes and the other does not. Thanks!

Martha Fulmer, thank you for alerting me in your very
kind and unassuming manor about my grave error. Yes, I
am a member of SFPOM and have not been online for a few
months (due to reasons I will not burden you with but
thank you for jumping to the conclusion that I acted in
malice). I will happily wait to sell my items until
after the sale or through other means. I do apologzie
to anyone who I may have upset by my error. I look
forward to other kind and gracious posts from other
twin moms in the future. Best of luck with the sale.

Dear members! In preparation for our annual big event -
our consignment sale - we ask all members to refrain
from posting "for sale" ads and instead bring their
items to the Sale. You can get all the instructions
here http://www.sfpom.org/consignmentsale/ - it is
really easy to sell and benefit the club at the same
time. If you would like to volunteer and keep more of
your proceeds, that is also an option. Thank you for
understanding!

I am assuming this is someone other than Martha Fulmer.
If so, thank you for your much gentler and kinder
approach. To reiterate, I have not been on the website
in a few months. Again, I apologize for my error and
have created a separate post to disregard my for sale
items as I do not wish to interfere with the sale. I
will look into the sale if my full-time work and travel
schedule and toddler twins allow me to do so.

Hi again, we understand how hard it is to be a parent
of multiples - there are times when keeping dates and
club events straight is really hard! Please do not get
offended. The sale organizers are also volunteers who
put in an amazing amount of time and work into this
event. They might have been upset to see your posts and
didn't pick the best words to express their
frustration. Hope that both parties will understand
each other's situation and do not judge harshly. I
deleted all the posts about "for sale" items.Jenia

7. Toddler Toys Needed ASAP!
--------------------------------------------------------
MadellFamily - 9/19/2013 11:45 am
Anyone looking to unload some toddler toys? Our girls
are 11-months, and although not yet walking - they are
frantically trying and like to climb up on anything
they can. I'd like to get some items that have varying
heights and maybe a little chair/bench type thingy? As
most people in SF, we are space limited so any good
space saving ideas are most welcome!! Will come and
pick up, and will pay for items in good condition.

Hi, I'm a licensed psychologist and I'm currently
teaching a graduate level class in psychological
assessment. My students need child volunteers to help
them practice administering tests. I'm primarily
looking for children and teenagers between the ages of
6 and 17, but we may need younger children and adults
as well. If you are interested in getting more
information about this, please email me
at:jdaly1@alliant.eduThanks,Jill DalyPSY 14315

Happy to be a mentor! I have 10 month old B-G twins and
a 3.5 year old. I live in Laurel Heights, and am fairly
flexible, as I am working part time. I should let you
know that my partner and I are very lucky and have had
lots of help from nannies and babysitters, and my
mother is nearby. So if you are looking for a Supermom
who has done it all on her own, that's not me. But I'm
sure I've got some wisdom anyway!!!You can reach me at

I would love to be a mentor! I could probably also be a
mentee from more experienced mamas with older twins.
There seems to be such a large learning curve with
multiples. :)I've got fraternal boy girl twins that are
9 months and we live in the presidio. I'm pretty open
as my schedule primarily revolves around feeding and
sleeping...yes, still. :)

I usually bathe my 10 month old twins together. Like
others, I just try to get the out-and-dried part done
as quickly as I can. The part that scares me is when I
am drying one, and the other stands up, and might slip
and hit his/her face on the side of the tub. So I just
go as quick as I can to get them both out.On days when
they are a wreck, and don't seem to want a bath, I get
in the bath with them. It calms them down. But I still
have to manage the getting out part. And I definitely
don't bathe them every day.

Molly,My kids are now almost 5 and I just stopped
bathing them together. I had a strict rule that there
was no standing, no pushing or pulling in the tub...
and I knew that they understood that even prior to 10
months of age. The ONE time I had a babysitter, when
they were 2, my daughter disobeyed the rule and went
head down. It was a long night in the emergency room
with vomiting, MRIs etc... So, I get how serious this
is. Upshot, she was fine. My best advice is to have
an array of toys that get rotated and you surprise them
with. Also, having music in the bathroom is very
helpful. We did sing-a-long during bathtime. Well we
still do sing-a-long during most activities. It is the
ultimate panacea.Of course I have an adhesive matt in
the tub and I use extra large and fluffy bathmats on
the bathroom floor, so sitting the first one on a mat
or on my lap was not too difficult; while keeping an
eye on number 2. Best of luck.Gedalia_________________
