<div>On May 3, 2014, dozens of volunteers joined the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, San Francisco Public Works and TLC for Kids Sports to help transform the baseball diamond at Herz Playground in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood into a beautiful space for kids to play ball. <br /><br /></div>
<div>This transformation was made possible through a generous in-kind grant from the non-profit TLC for Kids Sports, general engineering contractor O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc., and support by SF Public Works. The renovation includes brand new sod, fencing and infield dirt, players' benches and repairs to the backstop. New features include an electronic scoreboard and a flagpole.<br /><br /></div>
