Wonderful initiative! I agree, Lauren, real experience
and seeing it "live" is immensely more valuable than a
hundred books, even though it's just one family
experience. I would love to be mentored! :)1. Receive

Family Development Center. They have grant funding to
help with low income families.

Oh, I feel your pain. Our boy had also times like that,
and in sleep-desperation I would tell him I would stay
in the room with him if he let me sleep, otherwise I
would leave. So I would put down on the floor some sofa
cushions and I would sleep right next to him, holding
his hand through the crib slats. Of course he wanted to
play, but I was very serious that he could play but had
to be quiet or I would leave. Some nights he would play
for an hour or two before falling asleep. I would stay
(in a slumber) until sure that he would not wake up if
I left. Not the best of nights, but at least I could
rest and there was no crying. Hope that helps you.
