Dear New Parents:We at the Multiplicity newsletter team
want to congratulate you on the birth of your new
arrivals and also want you to know there is still a
little time to send in your birth announcement for the
next issue of Multiplicity. To ensure your announcement
is included in the next issue please send an email by
the afternoon of Sunday, June 8, 2014 to
newarrivals@sfpom.org, and include the following
information. You can also feel free to send your
announcement after the above date, and we can include
it in a later issue of Multiplicity. You can either
make a list of the items below, or you can write your
own short paragraph (50 words or less) including the
following info:1: Your and your partner's names2: Names
of your new arrivals3: Birth date4:
Heights/weights/other vital stats5: Any other info
you'd like to provide: e.g., gestation, place of birth,
siblings, pets6: A JPEG photo of your little ones.

photos don't work well. Please be sure to include the
title "Birth Announcement" in the subject line of your
message.Thank you very much!Stacy

We are converting our TIC to a condo and need someone
to make the necessary repairs for the inspectors. Does
anyone have someone they love to recommend? We need a
few more quotes. Thanks, I know this isn't our usual
fare in topics.Stacy

Hi Stacy,I recommend Cronin Construction and
Development. Joanne is quick, extremely professional
and has more satisfied clients than she knows what to
do with. She is based in Bernal Heights and I can
personally vouch for her good workmanship!Phone

I wanted to add, for some cases (there are many Asian
special cases) where if you are a match, there is
another way to help where they would get blood cells
from your blood (similar to a cross between blood
donation and dialysis). No pain involved. A fellow,
local, triplet mom was able to save one of the triplets
this way. VERY FEW ASIANS TEST FOR DONATION which is
why the need is so high. It's even higher when one
parent is Asian and one is another race. As a parent,
watching your child die is THE WORST thing you could
ever imagine going through in your lifetime. Just do
the kit - you swab the side of your cheek. You're not
committing to anything except checking if you are a
match to anyone in the database. People get weeded out
for different reasons...if you luckily happen to be a
match, the way you donate is A BREEZE compared to
childbirth. Please consider checking and doing the
kit...it's just a cotton swab and you drop it in the
mail.

Feel free to let me know at any point if you want to be
mentored, or want to mentor (in case you come across
this in the future). This will be an ongoing project.

One more thing - for those moms who contacted me to be
a mentor, and have not been paired up yet, I hope to
use you in the future as more expectant moms request a
mentor. Thanks for volunteering!
