Hello--I am on moderate bed rest for the next few weeks
and will be working on my laptop for much of that time.
I was going to buy a lap desk on Amazon.com similar to
this:
http://www.amazon.com/Levenger-Desk-Cherry-FA3045-DC/dp/B00IV3AEZY/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1402104232&sr=1-1&keywords=levenger+lap+deskBut
thought I might be able to find one on this forum.
Please email me if you have one you'd like to hand down
or sell for a nominal cost.

Hi, I just wanted to say that i was on bedrest for 4
months and worked from bed that whole time, on a
laptop. I looked at the lap desks too, but honestly
managed just fine just setting my laptop on my lap,
which now I can't even remember the exact setup as I
was massive and couldn't possibly reach my lap unless I
was sort of sitting up/lounging back. Anyway, could
still be a good investment, esp if you find something
used, but if you're only expected to be on bedrest for
a few weeks, you may be able to manage without. Good
luck with the pregnancy!

Hi. Okay... My dad is 85. He is currently living in a
regular condo with his85 year old wife. They are in
decent health, but I feel the slope headingdownhill. He
is interested in finding an ³assisted living² situation
in theBay Area. I know there are ³consultants² who
help with this transition. AndI¹d love to talk to
anyone who has gone thru this with their aging
parentsin the Bay Area. My dad currently lives in SF,
and looked at two places inSF. I know there¹s a place
in Santa Rosa that is supposed to be more of
acommunity, which sounds better.Any thoughts, advice,
consultant connections would be greatly
appreciated.Carolecarole@thorhanson.com415-328-6622
