PLEASE HELP POST OUR FLYER - THANK YOU!!!Please help
spread the word.It would be such a HUGE help if members
could please print out 3 to 5 (or more!) copies of the
Fall 2014 Consignment Sale flyer and post them around
your neighborhood or hand them out to other
parents.It's available as a PDF in two place (bigtent

ADVERTISE AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY :-)I realized today at
the Alemany Farmer's Market there are a ton of parents
with kids. I had some flyers and went to work handing
them out. Don't forget to tell parents to share the
sale information with others and that ANYONE can sell
or buy.You can make a difference!Have you posted or
handed out the flyer? Please share on this thread

QUALITY CONTROLIn order to maintain a reputation for
selling high-quality items at our sale, we need to have
quality control on sale merchandise. Please refrain
from selling the following:- Dirty, stained, or torn
clothes- Dirty or broken toys and gear- Bottle nipples,
pacifiers, teething rings- Worn underwear-
Equipment/toys with missing parts or dead batteries-
Drop-side cribs** Please note that the founder of
SFSmiles, the charity accepting unsold donated items,
told me that they DO accept drop-side cribs. They must
be donated with the immobilization kit. To donate your
old drop-side crib, please contact SFSmiles directly.

TIPS FOR SELLING- Include manuals and original
packaging if available (some manufacturers have their
manuals online you could print).- Install fresh
batteries in battery operated toys and equipment.-
Bundle small items like socks into baggies in groupings
of 3 or more.- Place nuts, bolts, and screws into a
baggy and use blue painters tape to keep all parts and
pieces together. - Consider pricing your items at 50%
or less of the retail price. Adjust up or down
depending on its condition and popularity.- Keep in
mind clean, nicely presented, and favorably priced
items will sell first and best.- Volunteer to earn more
on your consigned items (register online at
www.myconsignmentmanager.com/sfpom). - Tell anyone you
know with children or grandchildren about the
consignment sale - they are potential buyers!!

REVIEW OF TACH-IT SIMBA TAGGING GUNI received it 4 days
ago, just getting around to posting my review. I would
have to agree with the reviews on Amazon for tagging
guns. This is my favorite of the three tested. It has
all the features of the others and operates similarly
but functions the best. The fasteners release really
smoothly and easily. The fasteners themselves seem
higher quality, too.Only cons would be they don't come
with spare needles and the combination of tagging gun
and fasteners is most expensive upfront (~$20).
However, value-wise, I think it's equivalent. For
around $8-9, you get 5,000 fasteners. That's more than
you'll ever likely need.Last comment, all fasteners are
interchangeable with each of the other tagging guns.
