1. Setting Schedule with your Day Care Provider

I am a first time mom and just started my 4 month old
twins in day care yesterday. I like the day care
provider a lot so this is not a knock on her, just a
question what you wise moms have done with schedules
with your providers. Although my twins have only been
in a schedule of sorts for about a month, I am militant
about them eating at the same time, which typically
results in them sleeping / waking at roughly the same
time. And, if one wakes up and it is feeding time, I
wake the other one. (Although I have heard most twin
parents employ this approach, I am a single mom. If my
kids don't eat / sleep at the same time, I will never
have anytime to get household stuff done. So far, it
has worked.)Yesterday on day care day 1, I told the day
care provider when they eat and nap but I believe she
fed them at different times. And, she let one sleep
through a feeding of the other one. I know the adage
"never wake a sleeping baby," but it really doesn't
work with twins. For ease of mechanics in feeding two,
I gave her a twin feeding pillow that will allow her to
bottle feed both at once. Also, I worked out schedule
so that I can maximize my "quality" post work time with
my kids and for them to be mostly awake during this
time. How have you handled schedules with day care
providers. Do you write them out? Do you go with your
providers schedule? I really like this provider but
need my kids to be fed at / near the same time. I want
to start off with the right expectations but I don't
want to a crazy, overbearing mom with a provider I
think will be a good fit for me. Thanks in advance.
