Its adjacent neighborhoods are home to a diverse and rapidly growing population of residents. </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: -0.2pt;">Once the site of boat building and ship repair, restoration began at India Basin in 2000. A Design Competition for two properties along the India Basin Shoreline, 900 Innes and India Basin Shoreline Park, is being led by </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department a</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">nd the Trust for Public Land, sponsored by Build Inc., and in partnership with SFPA. </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Following a public RFI process, five internationally renowned design teams were selected to develop visions for this 8-acre site. </span></div>
