Rec and Park staff provides homework help and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for kids, grades K-8, including sports, art and STEM projects. The Department of Children, Youth and their Families (DCYF) has arranged for three meals a day for all participants. Other city agencies, including the Department of Emergency Management (DEM), the Department of Human Resources (DHR), the Public Library, and the Office of Early Care and Education (OECE), have played integral roles in the rollout of the program.
