Thise arguments are not fun. As a dad of a now 10th grader, I also made the conscious decision to just not buy anything that wouldn't be allowed in school. I have been at most recesses and I am not seeing kids coming to school in spaghetti straps or midriffs. With today's warm weather, we shall have a better assessment of what is under those sweaters and jackets. <br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><font size="3" face="Times New Roman" color="#000000">

Generally, she wants to have bare shoulders and/or bare midriff. The district student dress code says that bare shoulders and midriff are not allowed. However, Kelly says that her friends wear tank tops and spaghetti straps and no one says or does anything. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Today, Kelly is wearing a tank dress with a half-cami underneath. I am going to try and find someone before school who can tell her if it fits the student dress code. She has a tshirt to put on if the dress does not fit the dress code. <br></div><div><br></div><div>There is the matter of the dress code perhaps not being enforced. Why is there a dress code if it is NOT being enforced?
