<p style="margin: 0;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">San Francisco’s parks were in top shape last year—exceedingly clean and well-maintained across the city, according to a Controller’s Office report released today. From gardens and greenspace to sport courts and playgrounds, six parks received scores of 100 percent, the highest number of perfect scores ever achieved in a single year. These parks include DuPont Tennis Courts in the Richmond District, Fay Park in Russian Hill, Gilman Playground in Bayview-Hunters Point, Sunnyside Conservatory, Washington Square in North Beach, and West Portal Playground. </span></p>

This youth stewardship and leadership program is a collaboration between the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department and Port of San Francisco that runs from June through November. The program offers teens a chance to take a leadership role in the community by improving the city’s green spaces, creating place-based projects, and addressing important local issues. General work hours are Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with some weekdays. Compensations is $18.75 per hour.</span></p>
