Students will be able to save up and use their Dowllars to buy prizes at the Owl Store once a week during lunch. We have an amazon wishlist where you can directly purchase items and have them sent to Everett. Please support our students and the store! <div style="font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111" class="svelte-kqih7g rich-i"><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;"><strong>Sign up sheet is coming soon! </strong></p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;"><strong><br/></strong></p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">Hello Everett Families!</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">Castro Street Fair is on Sunday October 1st and we need volunteers to raise money for the school!</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">Everett is very lucky to be a selected beneficiary organization of the funds raised by this awesome family - oriented community event we all know & love. </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;"><br/></p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">The Castro Street Fair is a guaranteed fun day to raise money and people watch at the same time! </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">We raise funds for Everett directly from the neighborhood.</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">We give back to our Castro neighborhood and be thankful for all it does for us and our kids.</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">Spend time with other parents and be part of your Everett Community.</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">Enjoy all the fun at the fair including the art, music, and food.</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;"><br/></p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">All the funds raised are apportioned to the beneficiary organizations based on the number of volunteers registered who check in & check out when they do their shifts. </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">So, the more of us who volunteer, the more $$$ that go to important Everett programs. </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">Our goal this year is to have 25 volunteers (usually each volunteer gets us $100 depending on the</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">gate-proceeds for the entire event). If we don't get enough volunteers and contribute accordingly to the success of the day, we may not be invited as a beneficiary in future years. </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">So please, in addition to signing up and volunteering, please talk to other parents & encourage them to do so. </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">There are many opportunities for involvement from Safety Volunteers to BreakDown Crew - all in manageable 4-hour shifts (or you can split a shift with someone so it's only 2 hours of your time-</p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">- special arrangements are required so contact me if you would like to do this. </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">However, most of us volunteer as ENTRY GATE STAFF as follows: You are the first face to the Fairgoers. Smile and be welcoming showing your energy & enthusiasm. </p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;"><br/></p><p style="margin:0;font:15px/1.5 sans-serif;color:#111;">It's a big party with smiling faces, great art ,and music.
