<p>Dear Hoover Community,</p>

<p>I am very pleased to inform you that Ms. Kiani Mitchell is confirmed as the Assistant Principal at<br>
Hoover Middle School pending Board approval in May.<br>
Ms. Mitchell has over 10 years of experience as a teacher, department chair in both elementary<br>
and secondary levels. Her experiences are expansive–in creating culturally responsive learning<br>
environments for each and every student.</p>

<p>I also want to thank Ms. Erby for her commitment and dedication to the Hoover community. I<br>
appreciate her tireless work with students and families and wish her the best as she begins a<br>
new journey.</p>

<p>Additionally, I would like to extend gratitude to the Hoover Hiring Committee for their time and<br>
dedication in helping us decide on a strong candidate for the Hoover community.</p>
